American Cast Iron Pipe Company is one of the world's largest manufacturers of ductile iron pipe, fire hydrants and valves for the waterworks industry as well as electric-resistance steel pipe for oil and natural gas pipelines. Founded in 1905 and long known as an innovative manufacturer, ACIPCO's diversified product line also includes spiral-welded steel pipe in diameters up to 144 inches, fire pumps, centrifugally cast steel tubes, static castings and fabricated assemblies.

ACIPCO's headquarters facility in Birmingham, Alabama, is the world's largest individual iron pipe casting plant. Our domestic and international subsidiaries help serve customers worldwide. They are: American Castings, LLC, Pryor Creek, Oklahoma; American SpiralWeld Pipe Company, LLC, Columbia, South Carolina; American Valve & Hydrant Manufacturing Company, Beaumont, Texas; Intercast SA, Itauna, Brazil; Specification Rubber Products, Inc., Alabaster, Alabama; Pneumax of Peoria, Arizona; and Waterous Company, South Saint Paul, Minnesota.
