Notes:
*This thickness will vary slightly because of manufacturing process.
**The 54" Mechanical Joint Wall Sleeve is special with special mechanical joint (gland weight: 360 lbs each; gasket weight: 7 lbs each; 36-1 1/4" X 6" stud bolts each with one hex nut and weighing 3.4 lbs each). Consult AMERICAN for additional information on this special sleeve and for information on 60" & 64" wall sleeves.
Some sizes of wall sleeves in shorter lengths than shown can be furnished by special pattern adaption. Check AMERICAN if required.
+This "Weight per 1" Increment of Length" is the weight to add to -- or subtract from -- the weight of the 12"-long wall sleeve for each 1" variation in sleeve length from 12".
Sleeves will be furnished tapped for studs. Wall collar will be furnished approximately in center unless otherwise specified. Minimum distance from the sleeve end to the center of the collar is 4" for 4"-24" sizes, 5" for 30"-60". For sizes 4"-24", wall collar can be positioned on sleeve in 1" increments; for sizes 30"-54" in 2" increments.
Overall lengths are subject to manufacturing tolerances. If maximum overall length is critical, such as for installation of item inside steel forms, this must be specified on order.
See General Notes.

Notes:
All lengths of Plain End-Thrust Collar-Plain End Wall Pipe are fabricated from centrifugally cast ductile iron pipe.
For minimum lengths see Table No. 7-7 (below).
To determine weight of any wall casting not listed in Table No. 7-8 (below), use data in Table No. 7-3 (above).
Fastite-W/C-Fastite Wall Castings are only available as static castings. All other combinations of joints can be fabricated from centrifugally cast ductile iron pipe with thrust collars as required. See Table No. 7-5.
Correctly installed flanged wall pipe will normally have the bolt holes straddling the horizontal and vertical center lines. Checking with a spirit level or plumb line prior to pouring the walls is recommended.
"W/C" in the description of wall castings refers to wall collar. Wall collar dimensions are shown in Table No. 7-3 (above).
**Most wall pipes will be furnished fabricated from centrifugally cast ductile iron pipe. The statically cast lengths shown in this table may not be readily available.

Notes:
*Minimum overall lengths for castings with one MJ bell or one Fastite bell are based on the wall collar being located in the center of the overall length. Where the wall collar can be located off-center, away from the socket, some reduction can generally be made in the minimum length.
**Most wall pipes will be furnished fabricated from centrifugally cast ductile iron pipe. The statically cast lengths shown in this table may not be readily available.
***Flex-Ring and Lok-Ring Wall Castings are not illustrated.
Overall lengths are subject to manufacturing tolerances. If maximum overall length is critical, such as for installation of item inside steel forms, this must be specified on order.
Some sizes of wall pipe in shorter lengths than shown can be furnished by special pattern adaptation. Check AMERICAN if required.
"W/C" in the description of wall castings refers to wall collar. Wall collar dimensions are shown in Table No. 7-3 (above).
Correctly installed flanged wall pipe will normally have the bolt holes straddling the horizontal and vertical centerlines. Checking with a spirit level or plumb line prior to pouring the walls is recommended.
+Mechanical joint end wall sleeves are available in some sizes with shorter lengths than statically cast wall pipe per this table (see Table 7-1 above).

Notes:
*Weights are shown only for minimum and maximum lengths. Weights for intermediate lengths can be calculated from data in Table No. 7-3 (above).
The size, pressure rating, overall length and location of wall collar need to be specified when ordering. Wall collars will be located at the center of the overall length of the pipe, unless otherwise specified. Any lengths between minimum and maximum shown above can be furnished.
Overall lengths are subject to manufacturing tolerances. If maximum overall length is critical, such as for installation of item inside steel forms, this must be specified on order.
Where tie rods to connecting fitting are required for use with MJ Wall Pipe, the bell(s) of the wall pipe and the connecting fitting should be specifically ordered and installed with the bolt holes straddling the vertical centerlines.
When flanges or mechanical joint bells are to be flush with the wall, specify "tap for studs."
See Table No. 7-3 (above) for wall collar dimensions.
**Most wall pipes will be furnished fabricated from centrifugally cast ductile iron pipe. The statically cast lengths shown in this table may not be readily available.
See General Notes.
