JOSEPH K. BACIK has been assigned as a Sales Engineer to the Chicago District Office. A native of West Miffin, Pennsylvania, he attended West Miffin Area High School and Pennsylvania State University, where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering in May 2000. At Penn State, Bacik was vice president of the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs, vice president of Students in Free Enterprise, and he participated in intramural sports. His hobbies include baseball, football, racquetball, basketball, and playing the guitar. |

RONNY D. HUFFSTICKLER has been assigned as a Sales Engineer to the Dallas District Offices new Texas Satellite Office in Austin. He previously was assigned to the Dallas District Office and has also served in the Kansas City District Office. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Huffstickler is a graduate of Southwood High School in Shreveport and attended Louisiana Tech University, receiving a degree in Civil Engineering in 1985 and an MBA in 1987. At Tech, he was a member of the Tau Pi honorary engineering fraternity and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He joined AMERICAN in June 1987. Huffstickler is currently a member of the Austin Contractors & Engineers Association, having recently served on the board of directors as the associate member. He also is a member of the Houston Contractors Association as well as the Gulf Coast Trenchless Association. His hobbies include basketball, tennis, biking, and reading. |

TERRY A. WALLEN has been assigned as a Sales Engineer to the Minneapolis District Offices new Washington Satellite Office in Auburn, Washington. His territory includes Alaska, northern Idaho, Montana, Washington and Utah. He previously had served as a Sales Engineer in the Sacramento District Office for both the American Ductile Iron Pipe and American Flow Control divisions. A native of Gadsden, Alabama, Wallen is a graduate of Gadsden High School and received a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama in 1990. He joined AMERICAN in 1990. He is a member of the American Water Works Association. Wallen retired from the U.S. Naval Reserves in January 1998 after completing 20 years of combined service with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Naval Reserves. His hobbies include reading and golf. He is married to the former Allison Pland of Sonora, California, and they have two children. |
