- Flange-flange, flange-plain end, grooved, and MT & GS Push Pipe are all now available from AMERICAN in full 20-foot lengths in 4- through 12-inch sizes. The longest length previously available on those products was 19 feet, 6 inches.
- Standard thrust collars supplied by AMERICAN are fabricated from steel and normally field-encased in substantial concrete thrust walls. Ductile iron collars are rarely specified and are not routinely available.
- Fastite Push-Bar™ joint pipe in 4-inch through 64-inch sizes is available for trenchless installation using direct jacking or pipe bursting and for other special applications. AMERICAN Flex-Ring® joint pipe may also be used in applications utilizing horizontal directional drilling installation methods.
- Flange pipe from AMERICAN now sports a label containing general information and assembly instructions (the latter in both English and Spanish) on AMERICAN’s Toruseal® gasket. This gasket is recommended for flanged joints due to its superior rubber quality and sealing characteristics.
