JAMES R. BALLINTINE was assigned to the Chicago District Sales Office, effective January 27. A native of Bloomington, Minnesota, Ballintine attended John F. Kennedy High School. He attended the University of Minnesota-Morris for two years and was a member of the football and golf teams there. After transferring to Minnesota's main campus, he earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Ballintine is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers as well as the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He joined AMERICAN in July 1996, and his hobbies include golf, softball, hockey, and hunting.



W. BLAKE BEAVERS was assigned to the Kansas City District Sales Office as a sales engineer, effective December 15. A native of Cuba, Alabama, Beavers attended Northeast Lauderdale High School in Meridian, Mississippi. In 1996 he received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama where he was a member of Theta Tau professional engineering fraternity, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Beavers began with AMERICAN in June 1996. His hobbies include volleyball and racquetball. He is married to the former Lillian Patton of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.



KYLE G. COUTURE has been assigned to the Pittsburgh District Sales Office as a sales engineer, effective March 17. A native of Long Island, New York, Couture attended Westhampton Beach High School in Westhampton Beach, New York. He earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon social fraternity. He was also a member of the Auburn Rowing Club and was a counselor for engineering summer programs for high school students. Couture started with AMERICAN in September 1996. His hobbies are roller-blading, mountain-biking and skiing.



LOUIS FEIRMAN was assigned to the Dallas District Sales Office, effective January 1. A native of Metairie, Louisiana, Feirman is a graduate of Grace King High School and the University of Alabama, where he earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. At Alabama, he was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Order of Omega Leadership Honorary, and Chi Phi social fraternity. Feirman joined AMERICAN in June 1996.



CHRISTOPHER GLASSING has been assigned to the Minneapolis District Sales Office. A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Glassing attended South St. Paul High School and the University of Minnesota, earning a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1996. At Minnesota, he was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Institute of Industrial Engineers. Glassing has been with AMERICAN since July 1996. His hobbies include golf, hunting, football, and volleyball.



BENJAMIN M. HUSER has been assigned to the Chicago District Sales Office as a sales engineer. He is a native of Indianapolis and attended Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana. Huser is a graduate of Notre Dame University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. He joined AMERICAN in August 1996.



DANNY SWALLEY has been assigned to the Orlando District Sales Office as a sales engineer. He joined AMERICAN in June 1996. A native of Birmingham, Swalley attended Briarwood Christian High School. He received a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University.



MICHAEL D. WILLIAMS was assigned to the Birmingham District Sales Office as a sales engineer, effective April 1. Williams is a native of Selma, Alabama, and attended Selma High School. In 1992 he received a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama, where he was a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and Alpha Pi Mu honorary industrial engineering fraternity. Williams was a sales engineer in AMERICAN's Dallas District Sales Office from July 1993 until his recent move to Birmingham. A member of the American Water Works Association, Williams' hobbies include golf and racquetball. He and his wife, the former Elaine Scott of Mobile, Alabama, have one daughter.



JASON P. WINDHAM has been transferred from the Kansas City District Sales Office to the Dallas District Sales Office. Born in Portland, Oregon, Windham grew up in Milton, Florida, and graduated from Milton High School. A 1991 graduate of the University of Alabama, Windham earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and Ventilation, and the Society of Automotive Engineers. He joined AMERICAN in September 1991 and is a registered Professional Engineer for the State of Kansas. He is married to the former Susan Shobe of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
